About Personal Information Protection
Genesis Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Genesis”) will properly handling all personal information (hereinafter referred to as “the person”) who are related to the company, such as customers, persons in charge of business partners. Recognizes the basis of our business activities and our social responsibility, and we pledge to comply with the following policies.
- In order to handle personal information properly, Genesis will sincerely comply with the obligations stipulated in the Act on personal information protection (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), and other relevant laws and regulations on personal information protection.
- Genesis will specify the purpose of use as much as possible and will handle personal information only within the scope of the purpose of use, except when obtaining the prior consent from the person, and when it should be treated as an exception by laws and regulations.
- When acquiring the personal information, Genesis will acquire it by appropriate means, except the purpose of use should be treated as an exception by laws and regulations, and announce it in advance or notify to the person immediately after acquisition. If you want to obtain directly from the person in writing, we will specify it in advance.
- Genesis will endeavor to keep the personal information accurate and up-to-date within the scope necessary for the purposes of use, and take necessary and appropriate measures for safety management, and properly supervise employees and contractors. “Personal information” refers to the personal information that constitute the personal information databases (Article 2, Paragraph 2), which is stipulated in Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the Act, and the same shall apply hereinafter.
- Genesis will not provide personal information to a third party with without first obtaining the prior consent from the person, except when it should be treated as an exception by laws and regulations.
- Genesis will respond to disclose, correct or delete of retained personal data from the person in accordance with the laws and regulations. “Retained personal data” refers to the data stipulated in Article 2, Paragraph 5 of the Act.
- Regarding to the personal information we handle; Genesis will promptly and appropriately respond to complaints from the person and endeavor to improve the internal system for that purpose.
- Genesis will endeavor to continuously improve this personal information protection policy by conducting appropriate internal audits on the personal information we handle.
